Shortfundly is a Chennai-based startup that aims to connect short movie makers with various opportunities like short film festivals and short movie contests to get their creative work recognized and to help them move to the next level in filmmaking. Shortfundly also features short films in various languages on its website and mobile applications to make them reach more viewers and get their feedback on different aspects of the short film such as story, screenplay, editing, cinematography etc.. Shorfundly has recently released a BOT platform through Facebook Messenger through which audience can interact and receive instant replies regarding short films.

The Story behind the Idea of the Startup

Mr. Arvind Kabra wanted to develop an e-commerce platform where sellers across India can sell their products easily without paying any commission on selling. This led to the idea of Helloshoppee.com.

Helloshoppee.com is a digital commerce platform where sellers can easily start their online store and sell their products without paying any commission on selling. MOIPOT - THE ONLINE SNACK SHOP

Hello viewers, releasing today on our Startup Theatre is an e-Commerce food Startup based out of Ahmedabad. Started by Mr. Rushabh Shah, Moipot operates as an online multi-vendor marketplace for sweets, snacks, and savories.



The story behind the idea of the startup

The co-founders of Moipot studied and worked in USA for a while. During that phase, they had a really hard time finding good authentic sweets and savories. Every time their trip to Ahmedabad ended, their luggage would be overflowing with sweets and savories. When both the co-founders moved back to India, they realized that most of the migrated population in India face the same problem. Also, being foodies themselves, there was no way for them to try new authentic savories from other parts of India. That was when the idea of Moipot was born.


Product/Service provided by the startup

Moipot is an e-commerce, multi-vendor, marketplace for sweets, snacks and savouries. They are targeting food products which have a shelf life of more than a week such as Sweets, Indian Snacks, Chocolates, Healthy mixes, Accompaniments, etc. Sellers can set up their digital store on the portal and manage their products, orders, queries, etc. They can use the logistics partner of Moipot to deliver the product to their customers. Customers can use payment gateway on the portal to make payments or can opt for Cash On Delivery.


How is the startup performing?

Moipot is currently in its early stage and is looking forward to grow.

INNOVATIVE THOUGHTS - FROM CANDIDATES TO POTENTIAL EMPLOYEES

Started by Mr. Raghunath Kolla, Innovative Thoughts trains unemployed people with an aim to make them suitable for getting and sustaining a job. Mr. Raghunath Kolla, the founder of Innovative Thoughts noticed many unemployed youths roaming the streets of Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru with resumes in their hand and with some skill sets inside them. He wanted to deliver their inner skills. Thus, he started Innovative Thoughts.

Innovative Thoughts is a career training center present in Guntur and Vijayawada where unemployed people take prior training to get a job and then sustain in the job provided. Duration of the course is 45 days.
